Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Office Assistant & Officer Scale-I: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Officer Scale-II & III: Graduation with prescribed experience.
  • Specialist Officers: Relevant professional qualifications and experience as per post requirements.

Age Limit (As on 01.09.2026)

  • Office Assistant: 18 to 28 years
  • Officer Scale-I: 18 to 30 years
  • Officer Scale-II: 21 to 32 years
  • Officer Scale-III: 21 to 40 years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and other reserved categories as per Government of India norms.

Final allotment will be based on merit and vacancies reported by participating RRBs.

The Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner will be responsible for functions including:

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process includes:

1. Recruitment Test (RT)
2. Interview

The Recruitment Test will be:

  • Objective type / Multiple Choice Questions
  • Duration: 2 Hours
  • Medium: English and Hindi
  • Total Marks: 300
  • Negative marking applicable – one-third mark assigned to the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Interview: 100 Marks

The prescribed weightage is:

  • Recruitment Test: 75%
  • Interview: 25%

The Recruitment Test for APFC is scheduled to be conducted on:

20 December 2026

The date of interview will be intimated separately to shortlisted candidates.
